The Book Boot Camp is a combination of a book club and middle grade literature class offered to Anderson District One middle school teachers. From September 2013 to April 2014 (with a December hiatus) participants will explore seven different book genres, one per month. We will read at least one book from a preselected genre list. Discussions will be held on Good Reads in a private group. We will use this wiki to share core titles in each genre for middle school, including new titles, resources for teaching, and ideas for promoting the books with your students. Each month we will also include a book or reading technology related tool to explore.
Tech tool: Good Reads: If you do not have a Good Reads account, you will need to set one up in order to participate in the book discussions for renewal credit.
